Precautions for installing flange type sight glass
1. Installation of stainless steel flange type sight glass: welded flange should be clean and no damage, installed under the direction of the professional.
2. Installation of stainless steel flange glass: Please confirm the foundation of the sight glass is smooth; the gasket between the sight glass and the foundation is flattening, and without damage or grease. Make sure the sight glass and the cover installed perfect right before fix the bolt, then tightening the screw slowly.
3. The sight glass is allowed to work in a reasonable pressure range, otherwise the operation will be dangerous
Working Temperature range:
The maximum temperature for soda-lime glass is 150℃, rapid change range is from 120℃ to 20℃.
The maximum temperature for toughened borosilicate glass is 280℃, rapid change range is from 230℃ to 20℃
The maximum temperature for fused silica glass is 800℃, rapid change range is from 500℃ to 20℃.
